Nowadays, USB hubs are among the most popular and widespread computer peripherals out there, simply because they manage to enhance the level of functionality of a single USB port and allow us to connect more of our many USB-equipped gadgets to a host computer. These devices come in many shapes and sizes, and one of the most colorful such products to arrive on the market as of late is the new PH152 USB 2.0 Hub from Apacer, which combines a fairly unusual form factor with a very interesting choice of colors.

With its rotatable USB port design, PH152 allows users to easily connect up to four high-performance USB peripherals and large devices at once, including high-resolution video cameras, scanners, printers, storage devices, and so on. Plus, the Apacer PH152’s magic cube design allows users to easily manage and remember devices connected to the Hub.

Also, the two-port rotation design allows sliding or stacking of its USB ports, to suit users’ needs while ensuring data connection and transferring is effective. Apacer’s PH152 USB 2.0 Hub can easily extend 70 degrees and the three USB ports can rotate 90 degrees, for enhanced versatility.

Furthermore, Apacer points out the fact that the PH152 is fully compliant with USB 2.0 specification and is backwards compatible with USB 1.1 as well. Apacer’s PH152 provides up to 480 Mbps transfer rate, at 40 times faster than USB 1.1, and also supports bus-power (without power adapter) and self-power (with power adapter) modes. Plus, the Apacer PH152’s over-current detection and protection feature ensures the fact that all the devices connected to it for charging purposes will remain safe at all times.

Unfortunately, no pricing details regarding Apacer's PH152 USB hub have been provided for the time being, but we hope that the respective info will become available as soon as possible.
