If you lead a normal (and, might I add, boring) life, then your simplified daily routine probably looks like this: bed-work-bed. Of course, there's more to life than this, but if that's the case, then you at least deserve a great comfortable bed to await you after a hard day's work.

Now, revolutionary French designer Philippe Boulet offers his illuminated furniture collection to those looking to spark up their life a bit. He is famous for using LED technology to bring light to antique-looking pieces of furniture, like chairs, tables, commodes and last, but not least, beds.

His latest creation, the Poesy bed, is an amazing example of mixing classic and ultra-modern design, Boulet himself describing it as being a “poem” to modern living. The bed looks like the one a king would have had, with subtle curves and imposing head and feet boards. But its true unique feature is revealed when lit. The Poesy bed is continuously changing colors and you can choose you favorite, like pale white, bright pink, deep blue and so on, depending on your mood.

Imagine how good it will look in your bedroom. If before falling asleep was a big problem for you, now even the most stressed of you will gently fall asleep in the angelic light. The bed gives you the option of lowering the luminous intensity for more intimacy and you can also choose to deactivate the light from the headboard or footboard. You can even program ahead the lighting of the bed, so you can wake up surrounded by your favorite color.

But as wonderful as this piece of furniture is, it will probably cost almost a fortune, since the designer hasn't even made the price public yet.
