Given the fact that Apple's famous Internet Tablet, the iPad, has already reached mainstream status, it should comes as no surprise that it has also become the target of various accessories' manufacturers, including here Targus, who has just announced some interesting new additions to its lineup of iPad-related products.
The first product announced by Targus is the Spruce Mini Messenger for iPad, constructed from recycled polyester material and also being PVC and nickel free to reduce harm to the environment during manufacturing.
In addition to protecting and storing an
iPad, the Spruce Mini Messenger features pen loops, a business card holder, and a mesh pocket for other small accessories as well as two additional zippered compartment, while its adjustable, padded and removable shoulder strap make it easy to carry around.
The Spruce Mini Messenger is available in black with green inner lining for an MSRP of $39.99.
Next in line comes the Zierra Case for iPad, featuring a sleek, sharp design with additional pockets for business cards, photos or notes as well as a loop for stylus or pen storage.
The soft inner lining keeps the iPad scratch free while the protective top grain leather exterior ensures that the iPad is safe as it travels.
The case also converts to a one-position stand for in-case viewing and the integrated screen cleaning kit keeps smudges at bay, and is available in black or red versions at an MSRP of $54.99.
Targus has also come up with a new Stylus for the iPad that comes with a durable rubber tip that won't scratch the iPad's surface.
The Stylus engages directly with the
device and does not require power or software to operate, while being available at a MSRP of $14.99.
Last, but certainly not least, comes the Mobile Charger for iPad, which is quite small and compact and hooks up via a vehicle's 12V outlet for powering iPads, iPods and iPhones on the go.
To maximize its usage, the device can also be used to power or charge other devices with a USB connection and is available for an MSRP of $24.99.
