Pandora is, without a doubt, one of the coolest Internet-based radios out there, despite the fact that it has one major flaw: it's restricted to US users, with the rest of the world being forced to live with the memory when the Pandora service was available for everyone to enjoy. Moreover, those lucky US users will be the only ones able to take advantage of the device you're about to see as follows, namely the Livio Radio.

Similar to most other gadgets of this type available on the market, the Livio Radio will connect to the Internet using either a Wi-Fi or an Ethernet interface, whichever is available. Plus, it's got a fairly attractive design, which is sure to fit pretty much any home decor.

However, what really makes the Livio Radio special is the fact that it is the first and only dedicated device to offer Pandora's signature "thumbs up, thumbs down" controls on both the front panel and a remote, thus allowing users to choose and listen to exactly the type of music they like the most.

As expected, the Livio Radio will provide a lot more than just Pandora support. Hence, the device can be used for accessing a comprehensive list of validated Internet radio stations from around the world through Reciva, an Internet radio technology company that collaborated with Livio to create the Livio Radio.

"Pandora's listeners are increasingly using Pandora off of the PC, so we're always looking for new products that make that easy to do, and have wide appeal for listeners," said Jessica Steel, Pandora's senior vice president of business development. "The Livio Radio is a great way to bring Pandora into the home."

Getting Pandora into your home via the Livio Radio is not even that expensive, since this thing sells for somewhere in the vicinity of 150 US dollars, which is a very decent price point, as far as Internet radio receivers are concerned.
