You cannot store “all” your 3.5-inch drives in one StoraDrive, like the manufacturer says, as it can only host two drives, but it certainly looks like an elegant solution for finally organizing those extra hard drive you regularly keep in the special “gadgets bag” or simply laying around the house wherever you have some free space.

Now, the idea behind these stackable anti-static cases for 3.5-inch drives is that you get as many as you need and simply add them on top of each other, this way managing to store all your hard drives you currently don't use. The way the StoraDrive fits two hard disks is within special drawers that even have dedicated labeling areas you can use in order to tag every compartment. This might be useful if you are the kind of person that needs about six StoraDrives to store all their unused drives.

The StoraDrives from NewerTechnology have non-skid rubber feet so that they don't slip and crash all your stored hard disks, and are made out of plastic. I don't buy into their anti-static protection, as I have never seen a hard drive being ruined by it until now. And believe me, I have used regular hard drives under very extreme conditions.

Because it is not made out of any special materials, a StoraDrive stackable anti-static case costs just $9.99, making it a very affordable gimmick. And considering the fact that it offers easy access to the drives and keeps them safe, plus all together, it is also a very practical storage solution. It will hold any 3.5-inch PATA/SATA HDD and the overall dimensions are of 6.9 x 4.6 x 1 inches. It does not come with a hard drive like you see in the picture, thought you should know that.
