As you might remember, Nokia World 2010 started yesterday with the release of quite a few interesting new smartphones (as well as some harsh words by Nokia towards its competitors), but it seems that the Finnish phone manufacturer has some extra surprises up its sleeve, since it's just announced the release of another model in its Touch and Type series, the C3.
The Touch and Type family, as you might recall, combines of a touch screen and traditional phone keypad, delivering users a bit of both worlds at a fairly affordable price point.
The Nokia C3 Touch and Type Series 40 phone supports WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 communications, while also delivering fast web browsing with 3G, HSPA (up to 10MBit/S) and WLAN 802.11b/d/g/n access.
The phone also packs a 5 megapixel camera with flash, a music player, FM radio and it supports up to a 32GB memory card.
It incorporates a 2.4 inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) display with up to 262k colors, while the battery life is actually quite good (up to 5.6 hours talk time, up to 440 hours stand-by time and up to 38 hours of music playback).
Moreover,
Nokia's handset also delivers fast access to messaging and email plus applications and games from the Ovi Store.
Priced at approximately EUR 145, excluding taxes and subsidies, it is expected to be available in Q4 of this year.
