Despite of the fact that Nokia's gone through a pretty rough patch lately, some of its top executives being more or less forced to leave the company on account of their poor results, that has not stopped the Finnish phone manufacturer from coming up with some pretty interesting novelties for their global event, Nokia World, taking place in London as we speak.
Aside from a lot of rather harsh words towards their competitors, Nokia's reps also revealed three new additions to the company's Symbian smartphone lineup, namely the Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6, which all run the latest Symbian OS version and come to join the already famous N8, touted as being the ultimate entertainment smartphone and world's best cameraphone.
The Nokia E7 is presented as the “ultimate business
smartphone”, coming with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync on board and providing direct, real-time and secure access to corporate email inboxes and other personal applications.
Equipped with a 4-inch
touchscreen display featuring Nokia ClearBlack technology (CBD) for improved outdoor visibility and a full keyboard, business users will find the Nokia E7 is the perfect shape and size to work on documents, review spreadsheets, or read and edit slides, while a combination of business grade security solutions is also available.
Next in line comes the Nokia C7, a sleek social networking smartphone that will enable users to get live updates from social networks such as Facebook and Twitter and keep track of new email from their Yahoo! or Gmail accounts directly on the homescreen.
The Nokia C7 features a 3.5-inch AMOLED display and a very attractive combination of stainless steel, glass and soft edges.
Last, but certainly not least, comes the Nokia C6, a s
mall and stylish smartphone sporting a 3.2-inch AMOLED display with full touch capabilities and Nokia ClearBlack technology for improved outdoor visibility.
The latest Nokia C6 also lets users stay connected to email, access millions of tracks through Ovi Music, and download apps and games from the Ovi Store.
While we don't have too many details regarding the availability of the new Nokia smartphones, we can tell you something about the pricing, as the E7 will be set at a hefty 495 Euro, followed by the C7, priced at 335 Euro and the C6, which should sell for a more modest 260 Euro.
