You know,
touchscreen devices and Nokia haven't quite gotten along all that famously. I mean, while most power users enjoy the Symbian operating system due to its tendency towards extreme modding, most users consider it outdated and not comparable to other OSes such as Windows Mobile or Android. Which I totally agree with, by the way, since although I'm a power user, I also enjoy being offered an easier and much friendlier operating system.
Nokia seems to have definitely understood that and has made the
Nokia X6 available. A device that's made especially for those wanting a good touchscreen mobile phone that provides solid entertainment features, a way to connect and share files with your friends at the blink of an eye and, of course, allow you to update your social networking status no matter what social network you're registered on.
From a hardware perspective, the device comes with pretty cool specifications. There's a 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:9 (widescreen). There is a Micro USB 2.0 connector, 3.5 mm connector for audio and TV-out and the internal memory amounts to 32GB. The device sports a maximum talk time of 8 hours and 30 minutes (GSM) or 6 hours in WCDMA. As far as standby time goes, it sports a standby time of 401h in GSM and 420h WCDMA.
It has a 5.0mp camera with a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels with Carl Zeiss optics, 4x digital zoom, autofocus and dual LED flash. I haven't any clue as to what the pricing may be but I am pretty sure it won't be very cheap. Then again, you already knew that!
