In order to get great sound when watching movies at home, you would normally need a receiver or amplifier to go with your home theater system. It seems that the guys over at Okoro Media Systems have worked closely with AMD in order to develop their latest Media Server and they have done a pretty bang up job with it too, if you'll pardon the expression. It features a 45 watt Dual Core AMD Processor, 5.1-channel Intersil D2Audio Audio Amplifier, a 500GB low-power HD storage device, HDMI and VGA inputs, and a signal to noise ratio of above 105dB with a frequency response of around 0.5dB (20Hz to 20kHz).

Meant to deliver perfect playback of 1080i/p HD content, it is said to do so flawlessly and the user also gets to choose either an ATI Digital Cable Tuner (my personal fav) or NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner. Christopher Curry, VP of Sales and Marketing, could not be silent about the achievement.
