This is a high speed world we live in. High speed trains, high speed cars, high speed Internet and never enough time. Sadly, lack of time is always an issue nowadays. This is why we need as few gadgets with as many options as possible. Gadgets such as smartphones, mobile computers or
multifunctional printers. Speaking about multifunctional printers, Oce has just introduced the Oce VarioLink 9522, an MFP that puts speed and functionality above anything else.
Thomas O’Neill, Vice President, Product and Strategic Marketing, Oce North America, Document Printing Systems, declared that “In today’s environment, we know that companies are looking to reduce costs anywhere possible, including bringing outsourced printing back in-house. The new Oce VarioLink 9522 device is a robust and versatile solution to meet those demanding printing challenges and also provides an easy-to-use, secure, department-based scan and distribution solution for document workflows in the enterprise.”
The VarioLink scans,
prints and copies at 95 ppm, has an Ethernet port as well as 2GB of RAM and a 2GHz print/scan controller. How else did you think it could handle 95 ppm (pages per minute)? It can even send documents to email addresses, FTP clients or directly to the device's HDD. It features a full color touchscreen panel, as well as a lot of security features. I have no idea of the price though from what I can tell, you can even loan the printer should you be based in the US or Canada.
I'll leave you with one last word from Mister Thomas O'Neill, “The Oce VarioLink 9522 system meets our commitment to help customers reach their sustainability goals by consuming less energy and toner in addition to a variety of other environmentally focused features. We are proud to add the Oce VarioLink 9522 device to our portfolio and are confident it will meet the demanding expectations of our customers.”
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is
