While some of you might not understand what a professional
mouse pad does and you can't see its utility, gamers will probably want to take a look at this new one from Ozone gaming. Some manufacturers build their gaming pads compatible with certain mice models and this is why gamers currently using one such pad will probably want to stick to theirs. Don't worry, though, Ozone Gaming says the Ozone Trace will work with “all kinds of mice.”
It even comes with a two-year warranty, which is a lot for a large format mouse pad. In two years, these things usually wear off simply because they are transported a lot from gaming place A to gaming place B. Its dimensions are 400 x 280 x 4 mm and those four millimeters are the most important. Why? Because that's where the manufacturers have put all their expertise in building professional gaming gear.
The Ozone Trace gaming pad's surface (that's where the gamer's sweaty but skillful hand would sit) is covered with heat treated cloth. This is, of course, a major bonus to the user's comfort and all of you RTS players probably know what I'm talking about. Under the cloth, Ozone
Gaming has placed a layer of foam rubber, so that the whole thing feels extra soft. The layer is actually an air-filled matrix made out of polyurethane.
The third layer of the Ozone Trace gaming mousepad is the hard plastic one. It serves a key role in such a gimmick, since it is the one giving
the weight of the mousepad and of course, the stability.
Great weight is important on large mousepads, because you don't want them to fold from the lightest maneuver, while in the heat of the battle. At the bottom of the Trace, users will find a rubber base, which makes the whole thing even more stable and fixes the gear onto any surface it might be used on. Ozone retails the Trace professional mouse pad in a lot of countries. Check their website for availability details.
