It appears that for some people, using a mouse is quite the exercise and their fingers become numb and tired after long periods of using the computer via the rodent peripheral. This does happen every once in a while, but I can only say that it does if my whole hand is in an uncomfortable position, which is why the whole palm of my hand gets numb, not just the fingers. Or perhaps I do not spend that much time using the mouse, my hands being more busy with the keyboard.

For those of you that do use the computer and especially the mouse so much that you often can't light a cigarette immediately after exiting the office building, you can use some PADandCLICK gel pads for the buttons and the top of the mouse. This way, you'll be able to play those shooters for longer periods of time.

Although this concept might not apply to gamers, as gaming mice usually have special ergonomic designs and technologies included so that the user leaves the computer desk with relaxed hands, you office workers who have been given a random mouse that doesn't fit your hand at all might be the ones more affected by these ergonomic issues.

These gel pads that are applied on the buttons and on the top of the mouse let you use any mouse more comfortably, increasing the finger's touch surface and curving the palm more, so that you use the peripheral from a more comfortable position. They will simply stick to the plastic of your current office mouse and you will not have to worry about sore hands after work ever again.

If you are a regular user, you can purchase the Pad N'Click Regular kit for $5 USD and if you are a hardcore one, there is a Pad N'Click Arthritis kit, which costs $2 dollars more.
