A longtime partner of
Nvidia, PNY Technologies has just announced a new family of professional graphics
cards based on the Quadro 6000, Quadro 5000 and Quadro 4000 GPUs that
will be used in high performance workstations in order to provide
designers, engineers, scientists, and other professionals with
massively parallel computing power.
Certified for more then
100 professional software applications, including Autodesk 3ds Max
and SolidWorks, the new product family is made up of three graphics
offerings, the top of the line Quadro 6000 coming in with 6 GB of GDDR5 memory, an increased number of Nvidia CUDA parallel processing
cores, ECC memory, and IEEE double precision floating point
performance, making it a really
powerful professional offering.
"The new Nvidia
Fermi-based Quadro solutions, with multi-GPU capabilities, more CUDA
parallel processing cores and OpenGL 4.1, DirectX 11, DirectCompute
and OpenCL support , enable users to richly visualize complex
problems by delivering impressive scalable computation and scalable
visualization capabilities," said Jeff Medeiros, Director of
Marketing
PNY Technologies.
"It's remarkable
technology that continues to lead the industry."
All these
graphics cards
are based on the Fermi architecture, pack 448, 358 and 256 CUDA
cores, respectively, and are available from system integrators,
value-added resellers, and distributors, BOXX Technologies,
GraphStream, JMR, NextComputing and TACC being among the first PNY
partners to deliver solutions based on these professional video
cards.
