This one projector was developed for discriminating home theater enthusiasts and audio video professionals that desire an immersive home entertainment viewing experience. It delivers full HD 1080p images with 1920 x 1080 pixels in impressive detail and clarity over the 1,600 lumen brightness, and huge 100,000:1 contrast ratio.

The PT-AE4000U is the technological evolution of its predecessor, the PT-AE3000U, that has been accepted widely for its Hollywood tuned high picture quality and innovative features, like Lens Memory, that prompted more users to employ 2.35:1 wide aspect screens.
