Panasonic Projector System Company, Unit of Panasonic Corporation of North America, announced today the debut of its newest LCD home theater projector with 1080p native resolution, namely the PT-AE4000U. This one projector was developed for discriminating home theater enthusiasts and audio video professionals that desire an immersive home entertainment viewing experience. It delivers full HD 1080p images with 1920 x 1080 pixels in impressive detail and clarity over the 1,600 lumen brightness, and huge 100,000:1 contrast ratio.

The PT-AE4000U is the technological evolution of its predecessor, the PT-AE3000U, that has been accepted widely for its Hollywood tuned high picture quality and innovative features, like Lens Memory, that prompted more users to employ 2.35:1 wide aspect screens. Panasonic's new product takes features even further, making for a better way of enjoying a projector in the comfort of the users' own homes via the improved Intelligent Lens Memory, VIERA Link and programmable 12V triggers.

Taking the picture quality that Hollywood movie and television directors intended to consumers’ sight, the Panasonic AE series keeps providing innovative ideas to the home theater market. The new and exclusive Red-Rich Lamp makes for an overall increase in luminance efficiency of the projector, thus offering 50 percent brighter Cinema Picture modes, as to compared to the PT-AE3000U. Thanks to the newly forged lamp that embeds added red luminance, the projector is capable of outputting noticeably brighter images, as well as keeping color reproduction at its best.

In addition to these new technologies, the redesigned Pure Contrast Plates aid effectively the polarization filter as to block unwanted light leakage, therefore, creating deep blacks and fine shadow details. All these features along with Dynamic Iris, Pure Color Filter Pro and Smooth Screen Technology make the Panasonic PT-AE4000U stand out in front of other projectors, with a price of $2,499.
