I know you are all sobbing after the marvelous, mega-glamorous, fancy
diamond-studded iPad and for those of you that perhaps could not afford the $20,000 gadget, or perhaps did not pre-order one of the limited edition items in time, there is a new iPad that “screams BLING,” which might heal your wounded fashionista egos. Meet the world's first Swarovski-studded iPad.
Unfortunately this is
not a joke, as it appears that Crystal Roc has bejeweled even the beloved iPad, you know, like they do with all gadgets that drop in their hands. As if the first diamond iPad was not enough for our eyes, this new model that bears the Swarovski mark all over its back side has been recently announced by
Luxury Launches and with a more affordable price than that of the Mervis Diamond iPad.
A tenth of its price, to be more precise, which might mean that one sunny day when you are driving to work, a sudden beam of light will hit your eyes from a peacock-type of consumer who could not leave the home without their Apple gadget, blinding you into thinking that perhaps these should not exist after all.
Unlike other luxury gadgets that we have seen here, there is a certain lack of common sense into using a gadget simply because it has 6,000 precious, cough, glass pieces on one side, but maintains the same specs as the original.
Even more, this Swarovski-studded version is only available in the 32 GB capacity model. No technological or even logical improvement has been made, except for the fact that it is shiny now. Pretty colors sure come with a high price these days.
Gadget lovers will not be able to purchase the Swarovski iPad until the end of April bearing the $2,250 price tag.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
