There are several companies
making wireless chargers for various gadgets and the Americans at Powermat are among them. For over one year now, they have been showcasing
their chargers at events such as CES and even have solutions available on the market right now. Their previous model of wireless charger, for example, is out there charging a wide variety of gadgets, except for a few brands, which need a special case in order for some new-fashioned wireless charging to take place.
One of those brands is Apple and Powermat USA has kept it semi-unavailable for their previous charging kits just so they can introduce a dedicated solution right now, called the Powermat Wireless Charging System for iPhone. Built specifically for the iPhone, the new wireless charger from Powermat will support both the 3G and 3GS versions of the Apple smartphone and works the same way other wireless chargers work.
The kit from Powermat comes with everything an iPhone owner needs in order to keep it powered up via this more elegant solution. So, what you will find in the $69.99 package is the charge mat, the special case, which will house the iPhone and the company's famous 100-240 VAC international AC adapter.
Just to make the Powermat Wireless Charging System for iPhone more portable, the Energy Star 5.0 compliant adapter mentioned above comes with built-in cord management so that it doesn't dangle or entangle from or in your backpack. The 1xA wireless charging mat itself is a lot smaller than the one previously seen from this company, since it is specifically
designed for the iPhone. Also a practical feature of this kit is the fact that the case comes with micro USB port and cable you can use to transfer some more data on your phone while it charges. Quite convenient.
