Cambridge Consultants is an international technology development and consultancy company providing outsourced Research and Development to clients - from start-ups to blue-chip multinationals - who need to develop breakthrough products. The company's latest development is a system called the Prism 200, which can see through walls. It works using ultrawide-band radar. It can only see objects that are moving, but that includes the movement from breathing or even a beating heart.

The Prism 200 is a handheld through-wall radar, especially designed to be used by the police, special forces or emergency services. This compact, portable and durable product uses advanced signal processing to highlight moving people and objects in cluttered environments, through doors or brick, block and concrete walls.

Despite the fact that it sounds like a complicated device, the Prism 200 is very easy to use, by only pressing a button operators being able to switch between front, plan or profile views for a complete picture. The user can also observe the scenario in a 3D view, where the perspective can be rotated to look at a room or building from various vantage points.

To take things even further, there has also been a Laptop Application developed, which allows the Prism 200 users to remotely monitor and record the information gathered. This device is constructed from highly durable materials to withstand harsh environments and can be tripod-mounted for long-term surveillance.

Being such a high-tech device, I assume that it is not available for individuals, but only for the institutions and services already mentioned as being targeted by this gadget. This is why there is no information on the availability or price tag of the Prism 200. However, if you are the representative of a governmental agency or institution that might need the Prism 200, you should contact the manufacturer directly to obtain additional details.
