Specialized in mounting solutions for in-vehicle use, ProClip is now trumpeting the ProClip iPad Holder designed especially
for the popular Apple gadget by now laying on more than 1 million car seats. If your car has a large enough dashboard, the iPad could be mounted on it with one of ProClip's simple to use solutions. Though pros in this domain, not even they have managed to make the perfect iPad holder, as a Swedish company named Brodit AB actually designed and manufactured these solutions.
“Creating
mounting solutions that keep up with current mobile devices and changing trends, is what we do best,” says Bjorn Spilling, president of ProClip USA. “We offer mounting solutions that are custom designed for virtually every car in the world, and all popular handheld devices.”
These
fresh holders come in custom sizes so that they fit on a wide array of dashboard models. However, because the iPad is a large device, ProClip has clearly posted on their website the following “warning” message: “Due to the size of the iPad it may block buttons etc. on your dash when used with a vehicle dashbaord mount.”
This news kind of takes away from the initial enthusiasm, especially for those of you that don't drive an SUV. The system has two components, in case you haven't figured it out by now, namely the vehicle mount and the iPad holder, which allows for the gadget to easily slide in and out so that you can comfortably snag it on your way out of the car. Besides the dashboard solution pictured here, there is also a Headrest Mount announced and some more solutions for home or office mounting.
The Headrest Mount comes with a tilt swivel in order for passengers to be able to adjust it at the perfect viewing angle and all these new mounts from ProCLip can be found on their official website.
