As you pretty well know by now, I am what you might call a
hardcore gamer. I have played almost everything that's come up on a PC or console since the early 80’s to November 20, 2009. If you were to ask me onto which platform I enjoy gaming the most, I would tell you beyond the shadow of a doubt that there is nothing like playing a game on your personal computer. Because... well... there really isn't anything that offers more satisfaction than your own computer when playing games.
However, I admit I am also quite the PlayStation 3 fan. Although not owning one myself (PS3 games cost a huge amount of cash where I live, not to mention the console), you cannot but admire the might of Sony's console and the awesome games that have been released specifically to use the powerful technology encased in its black interior. However, not all things are fine and dandy with
the Sony PlayStation 3.
Take the web browser for example: it is quite unreliable, inaccurate and downright stubborn. Definitely unable to compete with other desktop class browsers such as the famous Mozilla Firefox, it seems that the PS3 browser will finally be put out of its misery. If we were to believe
a rumor from PSInsider, Sony is negotiating with Mozilla in order to incorporate the Firefox browser, thus giving up its built-in web browser. And I am pretty sure there aren't a lot of persons that will miss it either!
According to the source, it is not yet known whether a deal has been reached regarding the incorporation of Firefox into the very impressive and already beyond being a mere gaming console PlayStation 3; however, if I were the head of Sony, I would give them everything they ask for. Why? Because there are a lot of gamers such as myself that would definitely acquire a PlayStation 3 console if it really proved to be worth paying the huge sum of cash in the detriment of... say... a few days of hiking.
