OK, this is just a rumor so far, so don't get all excited; at least wait for the Games Developer's Conference later this week. Whether Sony has really created an add-on for its famous and long time awaited
Arc motion controller, we don't know yet, but they will probably showcase it in San Francisco at GDC.
On the
GAF forum, user ichinisan said yesterday that he had seen a “Wand” type of device that looked similar to Sony product, thanks to “one very big button on top” that has the Sony trademark face buttons X, O, Triangle and Square. This mystery Nunchuk-like controller that we hope user ichinisan hasn't made up or hallucinated also had a large trigger button marked as “T.”
“Nunchuck has an analog stick at the front, below that X and O and below that a D pad. Underneath is L1 and L2. Its [sic] actually long, not like the Wii Nunchuk,” ichinisan continues in his forum posting. This guy is also quite sure about the fact that next week, we will actually be seeing the “thing.” I hate these situations in which all you can do is wait. There is certainly a bundle of rumors out there that circulate the web, but as we all can probably see, most of them are Sony
PS3-related. You will be able to find more info regarding this subject on
vg247 as well.
I for one was hoping to see from Sony a device
related to the invention that they have recently patented, you know, the controller that had its own LCD, which could also be used as a controller for other rival gaming consoles. It seems that rumors around the PS3 console never stop, offering a good view on the planet's favorite pass time activity.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is
