Just like Panasonic and other major companies out there, Samsung is also known for building home appliances, not just flat screens and LEDs. So, to complete their lineup of consumer electronics and to provide the full package of devices for every Samsung fan, they are now releasing some new house electronics, which cover almost all areas of the house.

“At Samsung, we make it a point to listen to families and develop products that address their needs,” said James Politeski, senior vice president of Home Appliance Sales and Marketing, Samsung Electronics America. “Whether it’s making laundry products bigger to reduce the number of loads that families have to do, or adding induction cooktop elements to our popular electric range to deliver the best value available, Samsung is dedicated to delivering home appliances that not only get the job done right, but that delight families and bring a sense of wonder to our everyday lives.”

Samsung is releasing a new washing machine and dryer, the WF520 and respectively DV520. The WF520 is a 5.0kg high capacity front-loading washer with Vibration Reduction Technology Plus and several functions that you regularly see on washing machines. The WF520 costs between $1,499 and $1,599 and the dryer between $1,399 and $1,549. Also in the cleaning department, Samsung is announcing their new quick and quiet dishwashers series, out of which the DMT800 is the top model.

Now that we are in the kitchen, I can tell you about the rest of the electronics launched by Samsung. They have new refrigerators, namely the four-door RF4287, which will cost between $2,699 and $2,999, and some models of side-by-side, energy efficient refrigerators that are also more affordable, prices starting at $999 and topping off at $1,799.

Last but not least, there also new cooktops, the FE-N500 and FE-N300, which use hybrid induction and electric radiant technologies and touch controls for a more comfortable cooking experience. Though they can't be controlled by an iPod, these stainless steel cooktops will cost around $1,600. Samsung has taken this opportunity to announce a fresh oven as well, the freestanding electric oven called FER300, which costs $699 if you get the stainless steel version.
