The guys and gals at Samsung have always been proud of their multimedia playing devices. Mainly because they have so many that there's bound to be one that they can be proud of. Well, they could add a new gadget to their “
i'm proud of my work” series: the HT-BD3252, a home theater system with integrated Blu-ray that promises great video, audio... and a few Internet-related interactive features to boot.
Reid Sullivan, senior vice president of audio/video and digital imaging marketing, Samsung Electronics America, said that “Samsung has been offering Blu-ray video and HD audio as an integrated and powerful home entertainment package for the last two years, and our continuing drive to bring premium and extraordinarily designed products into consumers’ homes is underscored by the HT-BD3252.”
The HT-BD3252 promises to offer great sound by having an expanded center channel, front tallboy and wireless rear speakers and a total power of 1,000W. The Blu-ray player supports BD-Live interactive content via the Ethernet port or Wi-Fi dongle. Consumers can even stream SD or HD content from Netflix or access the Pandora Library for music. It can also play audio and photo from a networked PC, USB flash drive or digital camera and so on.
Reid Sullivan further stated that “the HT-BD3252 builds on the success of the HT-BD1250 and adds several performance and ease of use enhancements including rear wireless speakers and built-in wireless access to the latest streaming and PC-based multimedia content.” I am pretty sure you would like to know the pricing and release date of Samsung's latest
Blu-ray home theater system, so let me just let you in on the secret: due August 2009 for a MSRP of 799 USD.
