Have you ever thought what USB Flash Drive would Fox Mulder and Dana Scully use? Well, in case you haven't, I still have the answer for you. Very probably, they would be using the SanDisk Cruzer Enterprise edition secure USB flash drive. Not just a waterproof, durable drive but also one that complies with 810-F Military Standards and also suitable for use by the visually-impaired according to Section 508 requirements.

“SanDisk has upgraded the Cruzer Enterprise product line to meet the needs of a much broader range of users,” said Yariv Fishman, director of product marketing, enterprise solutions, SanDisk. “By reconfiguring the USB drive’s GUI, we increased the accessibility of important information technology to the visually-impaired. Additionally, the drive’s waterproof design is a perfect fit for health care professionals, soldiers and anyone else who needs to safeguard their critical data from harmful contact with liquid.”

The Cruzer Enterprise drives are able to withstand immersion and rainy conditions, and feature cryptographic modules and encryption algorithms that make sure your data is safe even if the flash drive is no longer in your hands. And since they are FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) certified, you can be sure they will do their job properly. They are compatible with additional software, such as screen readers or a Braille output device so people that have impaired vision can handle them properly.

Who said that a USB flash drive isn't meant to be handled by people with impaired vision, right? No matter if you are James Bond or the old lady taking an hour to distinguish a 10 dollar bill from a 10 Euro bill, you will definitely find this flash drive as the most suited one for your needs. Although I don't know what the old lady would do with it... but you get the point.
