Sony has definitely fallen in love with High Definition entertainment, since that's what it seems to be concentrating on nowadays. It appears that the guys weren't happy with the current line of Bravia models, so they decided to introduce the new Bravia 40'', 46'' and 52'' W-Series models. The usual 1080p High Definition support is of course... supported, together with other services, such as Yahoo! widgets, Amazon Video On Demand, as well as other networked TV features.
Thanks to Sony's Motionflow 120Hz technology, your eyes will feel less tired as they will be looking at sharper, more detailed fast-moving HD images. If your favorite show does not technically rise itself to the high-quality that the Bravia W-Series is able to offer, the BRAVIA Engine 3 is said to give you clearer, sharper pictures even if your network doesn't rise up to the task. It has capabilities such as 24p True Cinema, XrossMediaBar with enhanced 3d favorites menu and Internet-powered TV Guide On screen.
With four HDMI inputs, plus the BRAVIA Sync and BRAVIA Link technologies, you'll also be able to connect your High Definition TV to the PC, because the Sony Bravia W-Series has been designed for maxim compatibility and connectivity. From a music fan's point of view, the BRAVIA W-Series brings you S-Force Front Surround, which enhances the sound, giving you virtual surround sound from just the two front TV speakers. And unlike normal surround sound, you don't need any special surface for the sound to bounce from. No matter where you're at, you'll hear everything as if it were next to you, or behind you or around you... depending on the show you're watching.
It seems we can rest assured since no matter how big the economic crisis is, we'll always have quality HDMI TVs from Sony and companies alike.
