In its 18 years of existence the ThinkPad notebook line has come to be a synonym for impressive built quality, Lenovo just announcing this iconic brand will surpass 60 million units in sales this month, an important feat to say the least.
Throughout its evolution, the ThinkPad managed to introduce a large number of innovations, such as the first spill resistant keyboard and protective roll cage, being also the first modern day laptop to fly in space and, in order to celebrate this, Lenovo is launching a special promotion to its U.S. customers, offering them up to 15 percent discounted pricing on select
ThinkPad models.
Together with this announcement, Lenovo also updated its ThinkPad T410, T410s and T510 laptops with
Nvidia Optimus technology, this new offerings coming in with an NVS 3100M graphics processor that can drive up to drive four displays via select ThinkPlus docks.

Pricing for the new Nvidia Optimus enabled models begins at approximately $1,299 for the T410 and T510 and $1,849 for the T410s, all of these being available immediately.
