I am not planning to ask you anything about MP3 players since most of you will start chanting Apple. Prejudice aside, you should know that there are other MP3 players out there as well. Unlike their E Series bigger brothers, these MP3 players do not playback videos but they do playback MP3s, so I guess they are worth a closer look.

The first thing you will notice about the WALKMAN B140 Series is that they look absolutely stunning. And I mean gorgeous. Perfect blend of color with a nice round shape and cool looking controls, this device is meant to impress. But we all know looks aren't everything so let us take a quick look “under the hood” and see what these babies can do! They offer 18 hours of musical playback (which is more than most of us ever need anyway) and should you need a quick boost to your battery, 3 minutes are enough for 90 minutes of extra listening.

The B Series WALKMAN can be easily connected to your computer via direct USB connection or to any audio system that supports USB Mass Storage Management and Streaming. Which nowadays means... about every audio system that you purchase. The WALKMAN also features five selectable equalizer modes (like in the E-Series ones) and with the new ZAPPIN function, should you be the kind of person that likes to go jogging, you can hear a few seconds from every song in order to quickly choose the one you want.

It features a radio tuner, as well as a recording function and it will be made available starting with the end of July.
