Remember how a few moments ago, I mentioned
Sony Ericsson adding two new mobile devices to its GreenHeart lineup? Well, it has also released a new accessory for the two mobile phones, namely the Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree VH700. The device will allow you to basically create your own virtual phone booth due to the device eliminating background noise. And thanks to Intelligent Voice adaptation, you'll be able to hear every word no matter where you are.
Steve Alder, General Manager Group and UK Devices for O2, said the following regarding the new phones that Sony Ericsson outed, “Offering Sony Ericsson GreenHeart phones to our customers has been a part of our strategy to integrate sustainability across all our products and services thereby helping our customers reduce their environmental footprint. As an industry it is essential we embrace innovation in this area and incorporating greener credentials across our product portfolio is certainly a focus for us moving forwards.”
The
Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree VH700 has a talk time of four hours and a standby time of 250. It comes colored in Black, Silver/White, Red/White and Pink/White. It has a Micro USB connector, a volume button and weighs just 16.74g. The gimmick uses Bluetooth version 2.1 to connect and has an answer slash end button. The wearing style is standard clip-on. The device will be made available starting with Q2, 2010.
“Building on the established heritage of our parent companies we have worked continuously to maintain our leadership position by committing to reduce our own CO2 emissions by 20 per cent and product life cycle CO2 emissions by 15 per cent by 2015.” said Mats Pellback Scharp, Environmental Director at Sony Ericsson. Who says green devices have to be featureless, right?
