One of the things we really loved about the NEX-3 during our review of Sony's mirroless interchangeable-lens camera was the very sleek and elegant design, available in silver, red or black, but it would seem that Sony believes these colors to be a tad too...uptight and serious, since it's just announced that come November 19, Japanese customers will be able to get their hands on a brand-new pink version of the pocket alpha DSLR.
Apparently, pricing for the pink version will remain exactly the same as in the case of the other NEX-3 models, namely around 80,000 Japanese yen ($975).
However, beside the camera itself, Sony has also listed a whole lot of new accessories, all available in pink.
For example, Japanese customers will be able to get their hands onto an Accessory Kit that contains a pink pouch, pink wrist strap, screen protector, flash holder and battery that will sell for around 10,500 Yen (128 US dollars) when it becomes available, also on November 19.
Sony's prepared some other pink accessories for a January release, including here a sort of scratch protection case for the NEX-3 (to be sold for 4,725 Yen or 58 US dollars) and various lens protection solutions.
We'll also have to mention that most of these accessories will also be available in some additional color , which is very good news for the NEX fans out there who have some problems with pink.
