In a few months or so, everybody who initially bought a case or a stand designed especially for the iPad will start feeling very consumer-like and this is all because a new trend is about to start, the three-in-one combo of iPad accessories. We have already seen the iPad receive a portable Bluetooth keyboard from Brando, a little earlier and now there is a new similar gadget announced, which will turn the world of iPad accessories upside down.
Since the Bluetooth keyboard is one of the few additional gadgets you can connect to an iPad, it only seems fair that this trend kicked off. However, the fresh ClamCase, announced for fall 2010 comes with triple functionality, which makes it a keyboard, a stand and a protective case for the beloved Apple item.
You will be able to see this for yourselves in the presentation video at the end of the text. The manufacturer has also put in an AC/DC audio background, simply because everything is cooler when you're listening to that band and it kind of gets you into that good old fashioned American consumer mood that makes you want to buy everything, even if it's not available yet.
The manufacturer says its product is compatible with other gadgets as well, like the Sony PlayStation 3 or Tivo. It will act as a protective shell for the iPad, thanks to its 360-degree rubberized hinge and will save it from the three destructive Ds: dust, dirt and drops. The case is made out of high quality ABS plastic.
Now, if you want to use the ClamCase as a stand, it allows for a lot of different positions, but as soon as you switch to Bluetooth keyboard mode, all the portrait possibilities end, leaving you with an Apple netbook on your desk, which you bought in separate parts.
We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
