Nowadays, we rely on the internet for anything, really, and this is why a solid internet connection is always needed at home and especially at work. In order for business to go smoothly, Sprint delivers these two new solutions by CradlePoint, via their Sprinty Business sales offering. The MBR1200 N Router and the CBA750 3G/4G Mobile Broadband Adapter are both available starting with today and promise future users in small and medium offices easy usage and great reliability.

“When wireline access goes down and companies lose their connectivity, business doesn’t get done – that means no email, no research, no orders processed and no credit card approvals,” said Fared Adib, vice president – Product Development, Sprint. “With these two solutions from CradlePoint, Sprint customers can use our 3G and 4G networks to ensure business continuity and access to the Internet and other corporate resources when it matters most. As the first national wireless carrier to test, launch and market 4G technology, Sprint can play a vital role for our business customers using these two devices.”

The MBR1200 Failsafe Gigabit N Router is priced at $349.99 and comes with business-class features, including the ability to provide a secure Wi-Fi connection for data protection and extended user support of up to 64 people, on both the 3G and 4G networks. It has five 10/100/1000 ports, out of which four are the Ethernet LAN ports, and integrates failover/failback tech for easy redundant internet connections. Users will not necessarily need a wired internet service. Also, its working range via the 802.11 b/g/n protocols is of more than 300 yards, with internal antennas. This feature can be extended with the help of optional external antennas, as the MBR1200 Failsafe Gigabit N Router comes with special ports for them.

The CBA750 3G/4G Mobile Broadband Adapter is a different story, with a different price, of course. This $299.99 adapter is powered by WiPipe technology that increases its compatibility with Sprint's 4G and 3G networks. It will provide IP Pass-Through for the devices that will need access to the internet and requires very little configuration when being installed. It supports both USB and PC ExpressCard modems that run on Sprint's networks.

“CBA750 is easy to set up and requires no additional change in hardware configuration, which makes it an ideal solution for the office that doesn’t have much IT support to securely and reliably connect to the Internet at broadband speeds,” stated Jack Alton, vice president of Sales for CradlePoint. “Many customers will also be able to use CBA750 as either a primary or redundant connection to their POS system.”
