I am actually a bit surprised to see SteelSeries release its Medal of Honor branded gaming peripherals so late, the game becoming available by now virtually everywhere in the world (except from the UK that is), although they actaully make up for this by launching quite a wide range of accessories from keyboards to mice and headsets.

With such a rich peripherals list it's particularly hard to decide where to start, but I think I will go with the SteelSeries 6Gv2 Medal of Honor Edition mechanical keyboard that comes with 18K-Gold plated mechanical switches and an improved anti-ghosting feature that supports “as many simultaneous key presses as there are keys on the keyboard,” Steel Series also saying this thing is virtually indestructible.

A set of media control keys is also available, the 6Gv2 offering you an easy way to access volume, mute and other audio options.

However good the 6Gv2 it may sound, this isn't the ultimate Medal of Honor keyboard from SteelSeries, that award being held by the Shift MoH Edition that comes with a intuitive button layout, labeled keys and the ability to fully customize and remap the entire keyboard in multiple layers, SteelSeries adding a Medal of Honor Keysets to the mix, that is also available separately for $24.99 (€24.99) in case you already own a Shift keyboard.

Since these are all the keyboards that we get for now, I will move on to the Medal of Honor Edition mouse and surface both of them coming with custom MoH skins, the QcK Warrior Edition pad featuring an optimized textured surface for $14.99 (€14.99), while the Xai mouse is available for $89.99 (or €79.99 if you live in Europe).

Finally, there come the two Medal of Honor headsets, the SteelSeries 5Hv2 being specially designed for PC gamers while the Spectrum 5xb is built for Xbox 360 players.

Both of these will be available in early Q1 2011 according to SteelSeries, the 5Hv2 PC headset coming with a travel-friendly design since the unit can be dismantled into three separate pieces and includes a retractable microphone.

When it comes to the two headsets, pricing is still unknown, but we do now for how much all the other Medal of Honor peripherals will be available, the SteelSeries 6Gv2 keyboard coming in at $99.99 (€79.99) while the SteelSeries Shift MoH Edition Bundle will set you back $99.99 (or €99.99).
