I'm not the kind of guy who gets scared by the idea that the keyboard tends to get very dirty after extensive use (especially since most users tend to do a lot of other things while typing, such as eating or drinking). And a dirty keyboard means an accessory that will definitely be full of germs and other such nasty things that could prove to be a hazard to your health.

Like I said, I'm not that paranoid as to think my keyboard will kill me. I do, however, hate seeing what's underneath my keys every time I clean my keyboard (thank God I don't do it a lot, since my keyboard is pretty dirt-free). And that's where Devlin Keyboards comes in, and its CleanKey Keyboards. Peripherals that are germ-free, spill-free, submersible and pretty cool-looking - if you like the hospital look, that is.

Why the hospital look, you are asking? Well, mainly because this keyboard is made for hospital use rather than home use, although I know some people for whom I'd definitely buy this keyboard. Seeing how the entire accessory is sealed, there's no danger of infection (don't doctors wash?) or any burnt circuits due to hot coffee being spilled. And if this thing really needs a wash... unplug it and through it in water, it’s submersible.

Another interesting aspect is the Clean button, for those people who are so busy that even the complicated (if you don't have an MIT degree, don't even try) operation of unplugging the keyboard could cost them immeasurable amounts of cash. Just press the Clean button and wipe the keyboard while it is still plugged into your computer. That way, you never lose any time.

Pricing has not been specified, but seeing that it's meant for medical use (where nothing is cheap nowadays), expect to be surprised.
