Being outdoors doesn't necessarily mean that you have to give up watching sports or your favorite TV shows, SunBriteTV introducing the Model 2220HD 22 inch all-weather display that will allow you to do just that without compromising on picture quality since this comes with HD capabilities.
Although you won't actually get Full HD resolutions, this corrosion-resistant TV does feature a 1386x768 pixel HD
LCD panel coming a far cry from other outdoor models available out there, while its powder-coated aluminum exterior protects the internal TV components from rain, dirt, insects and extreme weather conditions.
Sun light is also not a problem since the 2500:1 contrast ratio together with its anti-reflective, impact and scratch-resistant window will definitely reduce glare, the 2220HD being also capable of withstanding temperatures ranging in between -31 and 50 degrees Celsius (-24 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
Other features include a full set of input connectors, including two HDMI ports, water-resistant detachable speaker module that can be removed when the TV is integrated with an external sound system and a
water-resistant remote control, while SunBriteTV's Internal Media Compartment comes as a factory upgrade to accommodate various set-top boxes and media players inside a weather sealed compartment.
"Great things do come in smaller packages," says Lynn Stearn, SunBriteTV's Vice President of sales and marketing.
"Model 2220HD is designed to meet the needs of CEDIA dealers who are looking for multi-room integration for the up-close-and-personal viewing areas, such as the barbecue, for the spa or any other commercial and residential applications with space restrictions."
However, all of that functionality doesn't come cheaply at all, the Model 2220HD boasting an impressive $2095 price tag when it will become available October 15.
