It's not unusual for fashion to get involved in the world of technology and gadgets, but the results usually concentrate on one of these fields, either looking great, with the sacrifice of poor technical specs or the other way round. Well, in the case of the Sutra Watch Collection, designed by Roberto Stern by H. Stern, in collaboration with fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, from the marriage between tech and fashion came out a beautiful “offspring.”
The Sutra Watch Collection is a line of timepieces created for “the modern woman on the go,” being comprised of nine watches in three styles: the "Pendant Watch" group, in which each watch resembles a talisman and dangles from a long gold chain adorned with a Tibetan love knot; the ultra-glamorous "Diamond Watch" group, with rock-shaped watch faces and a total of 101 diamonds each; and the more casual "Sutra Sport Watch" group, crafted for the effortlessly stylish, adventurous woman, and featuring a larger stainless steel case or a PVD-coated case and triple-loop ostrich watch straps.
The Sutra Diamond Watch is equipped with the latest generation Swiss-quartz movement and features a case of clear sapphire-crystal, multi-faceted by hand into an asymmetric design. It is 18K Yellow Gold with black face or white face, adorned with diamonds. The same goes for the Pendant Watch, with the sole mention that this one actually goes on a chain.
The Sutra Sport Watch is equipped with the latest generation Swiss-quartz movement and features a case of clear sapphire-crystal, multi-faceted by hand into an asymmetric design, also featuring a triple-looping calfskin strap.
It's clear that these watches are luxury items and if that wasn't obvious to everyone from a first glance, then they have the price to stand for that, ranging from 1,500 to 10,000 US dollars.
