I wonder why every time you get on the road with your laptop for business or just personal trips, the battery has to get drained just when you need it most. There is a possibility that yours sports a detachable battery, and you're in luck with the commodity of carrying an extra battery all with you and switch it with the installed one when it goes empty. And then again, there are those laptops that don't have a swappable battery and then you're out of luck.

The only solution for the likes of you is the option of an external battery. One option would be the new Tekkeon myPower All line of batteries designed and developed to recharge from solar chargers that Tekkeon has available in various capacity modules, ranging from 12 watts to 62 watts.

The myPower All external batteries come with a multitude of plug fittings that can connect with any piece of electronic device. That includes laptops, portable DVD players, video recorders, cameras, MP3 players and many more. One single battery can store enough power to supply even your full size laptop. Voltage compatibility with mostly any system is ensured by the adjustable regulated power feature of the batteries, so you don't have anything to worry about toasted gadgets.

myPower All battery packs easily connect with Tekkeon solar chargers, either through the DC input port or through the 3-pin solar port using the Sunbooster smart 3-pin adapter. Added together, a battery pack and a capable solar charger weigh less than 5 pounds (probably somewhere around 2KG), which is fine unless you hike.

You can find out the prices online; it will probably add up to somewhere around the sum of $200, maybe $250 total for a battery pack and a solar charger, but being able to charge your mobile phone and power your notebook up on a mountain simply makes up for that.
