Although the Asus NX90J multimedia notebook got a lot of media hype ever since it was first introduced over at CeBit, we had to wait long enough for Asus to decide when it will become available and, above all, how much will buying this set us back.
Certainly a lot of time has passed since
we first got hands-on with the NX90, but I am happy to report that Asus finally decided to release this thing into the wild since the NX90Jq will become available this October for $2,299.
Although this won't be cheap by any means, the 18.4-inch notebook is flanked by a pair of Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers while also using Asus' SonicMaster technology in order to provide us with an impressive sound quality, similarly to the
N73Jn we reviewed not so long ago.
An Intel Core i7 and Nvidia GeForce graphics card is also among the feature list, together with up to 1.28TB of storage space and 8GB of DDR3 memory.
Apart for the NX90, Asus announced the N53Jf multimedia notebook that also offers Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers and the Sonic Master audio technology together with GeForce GT425M graphics and Intel Core i5 processors available starting from $999 and the GTX 460M packing ROG G73Jw that will retail for $1,799.
The
Asus WiCast EW2000, another piece of hardware that we already covered, will also be available for $199, as previously suggested, while the Eee PC 1015PEM netbook that will retail for $379. (via
