Yet another product that I haven’t told you about in quite a while, namely radios, is up next. Mind that this one has absolutely nothing special, besides its design, being made of wood. Other than that, it is just a plain radio, named the Magno Wooden Radio.

It comes to offer users quality AM and FM reception, but with quite an impressively good sound. Another thing to be said about this is that each and every radio is designed with clear java ebony, mahogany and pine from a sustainable forest in Indonesia, while the manufacturing process is actually handcrafting. Every radio is made using a unique blend of wood, grain and colors, making up for a neat combination of old, older and new for the young and the no-so-young radio aficionado.

The wood is given a very light oily finish and is untreated with stains, while Teak or Pine oil is an optional addition to make the radio even prettier. Created with simplicity and preservation of the ecosystem in mind, the wood radio only has two wooden knobs on the front for on/off/volume and, of course, tuning. The band-switching knob, between AM and FM to be exact, is located on the back of the radio, while a small wooden ball rests on top of the 18-inch FM whip antenna.

As expected, the radio does have an auxiliary port for users to connect their favorite audio player (I could've said MP3 players, but the FLAC discerning listeners might have felt discriminated) so they can share tracks loud through this wooden radio. It looks quite cool to have a wood radio that plays any music you want. The price is rather high, with no technical details to it, at $199.95, which I would not pay without knowing at least an estimated battery life, power output and with no AC adapter included.
