If you have been eagerly waiting for the NC20 from Samsung and decided you couldn't wait anymore, Samsung has decided to offer you something to keep you interested. The N110, the successor of the NC10, has been announced. This device has the same keyboard as the NC10, uses a 1.6 GHz Atom N270 processor, as well as the same memory and storage capacity.
However, the device offers a bigger battery with up to eight hours for real-world usage and has a more usable and user-friendly touch pad. The N110 looks sleek and fashionable, with a red-rimmed mate exterior. Regarding the touch pad, it is 2.5 x 1.3 inches in size (unlike the 2.3 x 1.1) with an improved mouse button that still lacks a divot to separate the left and right size with a single rocker bar available to be pressed.
This new addition fits perfectly with the NC10 keyboard that was one of the NC10's strong points when the NC10 netbook was released. Regarding its measures, you'll be happy to know that the N110 has kept its 10.3 x 7.3 x 1.2 inch size that made the NC10 end-users' favorite device for working on the go. After all, why change something that works, right?
And this is definitely what Samsung was thinking with this upgrade. Not having changed any of the NC10's components, you can be sure you will get great performance and good speeds when using your netbook. With better endurance than most competitors and great keyboard, the N110 is as close as any netbook has come to being the perfect gadget.
And keeping in mind that the netbook market is flooded with such devices, this is a pretty courageous statement. Leaving intact what was good about the NC10 while improving what wasn't quite right has definitely paid off for Samsung.
