Guess what certain portable console has been made available everywhere starting with, well, yesterday? Come on, you know what I am talking about! Yes! The
PSPgo (PlayStation Portable Go) has officially been made available and is yours for the taking. Carrying a North American price tag of 249.99 USD (the MSRP, that is!), the son (or daughter) of the good old
PSP is ripe and ready for the picking by portable console gamers everywhere.
With titles such as Gran Turismo (who doesn't know the all-time champion of console racing games?), Tetris, Madden NFL, God of War and Star Wars Battlefront, users can be sure that they definitely won't be bored anytime soon! But that's not all; you also get lots and lots of movies, TV shows and many other delights for your heart to enjoy. If you have the money to pay for everything, that is! After all, keep in mind this is Sony!
“We've been saying that 2009 is the year of the PSP platform, and with today's launch of the PSPgo system along with the flood of PSP digital content now available on PlayStation Network, we're delivering on that promise,” said Peter Dille, senior vice president, marketing and PlayStation Network, SCEA. “The consumer appetite for digital content continues to grow, and PSPgo is the first dedicated gaming handheld to fully address the demand for an all-digital entertainment device.”
I hate to brake it to you Mister Peter Dille, but... 2009 is ending and it really hasn't been “the year of the PSP.” Sure, it did OK but definitely not fantastic. Anyway, the PGPgo will be available in Piano Black and Ceramic White (as usual, the dark side is way more attractive) and like I mentioned in the beginning, has a recommended price tag of 249.99 dollars.
