I've seen a lot of solar charger kits with two, four or six different plugs for that increased versatility so you can connect anything to it. That's the only means that will let us
separate from the electrical sockets for as long as we want to. Most people will only go as far as their power outlet reaches and that's kind of silly. Technology has advanced so much that wireless is something as common as wired and yet we can't go for more than a mere four days without needing an outlet to charge our mobile phone, MP3 player, and so on.
This solar charger, called the Power Pouch, is shaped like a wallet with the solar panel on the outside. On the inside, you will find many loops and pockets that store the amount of interchangeable and interconnectable plugs, adapters and cables. Besides the cables and plugs, it also features a chargeable battery.
The adaptors and plugs included will make sure you can fit any portable item and mobile phone you might own. You get mobile phone adaptors for LG, Motorola, both Nokia plugs (thing & standard), Samsung,
Sony Ericsson (the standard and the wide one) and iPhone.
There's also a 4mm straight jack to connect your Sony PSP, TomTom GPS, digital cameras, PDAs and two-way radios. You can charge your iPod as well via the USB female socket that can be used for MP3 players, PDAs and GPS systems.
There's also a Mini-B USB male plug for charging the included portable battery and for connecting other devices that use Mini-B USB connection. In case you run out of battery when the Sun is down, you'll always have the battery pack charged, which you can use to charge your mobile phone.
All in all, a versatile product that the maker touts as being able to charge your gadgets twice faster than common solar chargers. Price is really worth it, in my humble opinion, $49.95 for a never-ending energy source.
