The iBlock Memory Stick Proves that LEGO USB Drives Never Die

So, here's another LEGO USB memory stick. The special thing about it is well... nothing really; it can hold 2GB of potentially top-secret, classified data inside its LEGO-covered carcass. And it costs $24. Oh, and if you have lots of them, you can put them together and build some sort of USB drive palazzo. Still, every LEGO gadget has a deeper story to tell, if one doesn't have anything better to do than listen.

For instance, when and where can gadgets such as the iBlock Memory Stick be of more use? Now, let's say you're on a date. You're talking with the lady of your desire about movies and music and other things that can be carried in digital format. And then, you remember that you had promised to bring her some movie or other on your pen drive. So, you put on that winsome smile, whip out a LEGO encased memory stick and say,

"Dearest, the promises I make thee are as divine commands to one as love-smitten as I. Behold, this LEGO memory stick contains the digital treasures I swore to obtain for thee, no matter the time spent on the Internet to find them, or the scouring of my immense hard drive to dig them up from some dusty crypt of a forgotten folder. And so, it is with trembling hands and glee in my heart (yeah, yeah, I know, but that's how people talked during a date, at least according to the 19th century tutorials I have read) that I deposit this really cool-looking LEGO-shaped USB drive into your delicate musk-scented palms."

Now, if your dates are like this, you might find a device such as the iBlock rather unsuitable for the image you may want to project. You could try a USB drive shaped like, I don't know, a top hat, for instance.

Of course, people don't use memory sticks that much when dating; but it would have been boring to talk about what your business partners, colleagues and clients think about your LEGO USB drive. Just don't use it if you're wearing a suit and you're in the company of old people.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there.
