Just recently, Scosche Industries announced the availability of its latest product, namely the powerFUZE home and car USB charging system. This product comes to tagged with both the "Made for iPod" and "Works with iPhone" stamps and
brings the versatility of having to carry only one charger for all your USB-based devices while traveling.
“Customer convenience is key factor in all of Scosche’s product designs,” said Kas Alves, executive vice president of Scosche Industries. “With the powerFUZE our customers can replace multiple chargers with one that works both at home and on the road.”
Thanks to the modular-like design, the powerFUZE can be configured, or better said, assembled in various different ways to supply several charging solutions. The main body of the unit is actually a home charger that boasts one USB charging port, and even an AC/DC converter port (like the car lighter slot), port which allows you to plug your preferable car accessories into any wall outlet.
As it is a somewhat modular system, the powerFUZE also includes one low-profile USB car charger you can neatly dock in the AC/DC converter port that transforms the whole unit into a dual USB home charger capable of charging two devices at once.
The USB car charger also nests smoothly in any vehicle with 12-volt power socket, giving customers the possibility to charge any USB-powered device while going to work, for example. Both USB ports boast 1 Amp output to provide the fastest charging possible for all mobile gadgets, be it home charging or in-car.
The price is also modular, users having the possibility to choose among the $34.99 simple powerFUZE, the powerFUZE PRO that comes included with an iPhone sync cable for $44.99, $19.99 for the standalone powerPLUG ultra low profile USB car charger or powerPLUG PRO with iPhone charge and sync cable for $29.99.
