Since the fashion world shows no mercy for all the geeks out there who are forced to create their own mail-reading shirts, at home, some have found a way to turn the world of geeks’ clothing upside down and create singing T-Shirts, which combine musical instruments with clothes, an experiment not even CK has tried until now (only guessing). The new models are sized to fit your geeky children and can play guitar or drums. Yes, the Electronic Drum Kit Shirt has also been reduced in size.

You might think this is an incredible invention for both worlds of fashion and technology, but the trick is that these new shirts come with a mini amplifier, two magnetic picks and removable electronic components, so that you can wash your Electronic Guitar Shirt without damaging the sound equipment and... well, rock on the next day too.

Since the new models are designed to be worn by children, we're advised against treating these shirts like toys. ThinkGeek insists on the “real music” playing ability of these clothing items, thanks to ingenious technology. Well, that technology is the amp, which sits comfortably on your belt thanks to its clipper.

The buttons on the shirts' necks play one major chord, which has been prerecorded on a real guitar or drum kit. They also come with magnetic picks that activate the gear responsible for the audio output. The Electronic Drum Kit Shirt has seven different drums and the embedded speaker will render unique sounds according to your choice. Like the models designed to be worn by adults, the kid-sized version also cost $29.99.

I took the liberty of adding the promotional video posted on ThinkGeek, but I must warn you, proceed with caution, as it is probably one of the geekiest clips you have ever seen. If you don't think geek, it is advised to skip the presentation and continue living the rest of your life without wearing music playing T-shirts.
