First of all, I would like to say that if you are one of the few laptop owners who regularly use this gadget on their lap, then you must be very cold all the time. All laptops produce a lot of heat, not just the Apple ones, and this is why some people (like me) would never even conceive keeping a laptop on their laps for more than 3 minutes. Not to mention the fact that summer is approaching. Take a look at these three new models of laptop coolers, they might help you employ your notebook in a more comfortable way.

Like I've said, Antec presents three different models of coolers, the Notebook Cooler Basic, Notebook Cooler Mini and the Notebook Cooler Designer.

Right from the start, the Mini model seems the most practical, as it is easier to carry around. Don't let its name fool you, as it is going to work with models of laptops as large as 17 inches. It is just the most compact laptop cooler that Antec has developed until now. The Mini uses a quiet 80 mm blower in order to do its job.

The Notebook Cooler Basic only works with laptops up to 14 inches and though it is lightweight (net weight of 300 grams), the shape might make you want to leave it at home. It has a flip-up stand in order for users to adjust the angle at which they can employ their notebook.

Last but not least, the Designer model of cooling system for portable computers is the most expensive and promises the best cooling among these three, while also boasting stylish aesthetics. Unfortunately, it will not cool laptops larger than 15 inches. The cool air is provided by its 110 mm blower that works at 800 RPM. Antec promises it will quietly do so and this makes the $39 Designer cooler seem like the perfect choice. The Mini and the Basic cost $29.
