Timbuk2 has managed to establish itself as one of the most constant and serious notebook accessory manufacturers out there, the company creating, over time, a fairly large number of protective cases, all of which, however, target a younger, more active crowd. And that's also the case with one of their latest release, the T-Pack, which provides both cool looks and a very good level of
protection.
Right from the first look, it's quite clear that the Timbuk2 T-Pack laptop case has been designed with a special category of users in mind, namely teenagers, who are always looking for some cool-looking accessory to go with their various gadgets. And we have to admit that the designers from Timbuk2 really managed to get the job done with the T-Pack, because this thing is most likely to prove quite appealing for its targeted segment.
The
laptop case is built specifically for the numerous 10-inch netbooks (or small-size notebooks) that are available on the market nowadays, but, as the manufacturer points out, it can also work very well as a cover for the Amazon Kindle or the other portable e-book readers available out there.
The T-Pack sports a molded foam exterior that provides very good laptop protection, as well as an air mesh padded and scratch protective interior, which will protect the (often glossy) surface of the device stored within. Plus, this thing is also pretty versatile, since it packs a very convenient external zipper pocket for one's power brick, and can be very easily used either as a backpack (by threading the nylon strap through the top center tab and attaching it back to the two bottom tabs), a shoulder bag (by connecting the nylon strap to only the top two tabs) or a laptop case (by removing the strap altogether and carrying it sans-straps).
Fortunately, pricing for this
attractive accessory is actually pretty OK, namely just around $30, which is a sum even teenagers will certainly be willing to pay for an accessory that will not only protect their portable computing system, but also make them look cooler while doing so.
