The whole technological world is still in a craze with this three dimensional technology, and most of the companies keep racing on the endless road into breaching new technological barriers and such,
while others just make the patents or cores of the technologies to have the manufacturers fuss about, and just showcase what they can do. Just recently, the producer of the world-famous 3DX Festival in Singapore and 3D Screenings Asia in Hong Kong, collaborating with The Hollywood reporter has announced an upcoming such experience for the masses at a new Times Square event.
Producer of this all, the man behind the curtain is Nino Balistreri, that stated the following. "Following on the record-smashing box office sales of 3D Hollywood blockbusters like Avatar and Up, filmmakers, theatres, consumer electronic manufacturers and video gaming companies are poised to re-define the entertainment market," he explained.
We can all admit that 3D is today's hottest technology, or at least hottest subject, especially coming in a time when consumers have no idea what could come next. This first annual "The 3D Experience" showcases 3D digital cinema, gaming and TV into
one big event for consumers and industry insiders can take part to the showcase, included with video, audio and even sense. The 3D Experience launched this September, namely 24, 25 and 26, throughout Times Square.
"The beauty of The 3D Experience in Times Square is that no other event in the world brings together major Hollywood studios, theatres, game publishers, consumer electronics manufacturers and consumers. Our goal is to showcase the future of digital 3D and support the transition of this technology into theaters and into the homes of consumers." added Balistreri.
Expected crowd in the Times Square event tops at 75,000, of course, including virtually all of the industry major players, avid consumers, while also distracting the attention of the nearly 2 million daily visitors of the square.
