Here I am telling you people about an iPod, iPhone dock with radio, or vice versa, and this one's also special, as what you can see to your left is the latest addition to audio company Tivoli, the Model 10 Radio, which is, as the maker says it, a desktop radio.
Taking advantage and even emphasizing the company's elegant and minimal design (even
though I wouldn't call textured wood minimalist), the Model 10 also embeds a digital display that I have a slight feeling is backlit with my favorite tone of blue, at least from what I can tell from the sole picture I've found online.
Technology-wise, the Model 10 packs an AM/FM clock radio, sporting an adjustable equalizer (could it be automatic? because I'm starting to see no use for adjustable in the tech specs) and two alarms, as well as a sleep timer, and snooze control, which I for one have no problem admitting is one of the most wonderful features on an alarm clock. The Model 10 can be shipped in various furniture-grade woods and high-gloss finishes, including walnut, cherry, ocean blue, midnight blue and carmine red.
Speaking of finishes, and my mentioning wood is not minimalistic, mind I tell you that I have also heard
something about an aluminum and anodized aluminum case for this specially created for celebrating Tivoli's 10-year anniversary. Along with it, you can see the iPod, iPhone audio dock, called The Connector that can be taken advantage of to add the mentioned portable devices' input to any radio. However, the company reminds us that the dock's wood finishes match its cases. Not bad for a list price of $199, until you hear that the Connector costs another $125.
