Toto, the Japanese toilet maker that came up with the Intelligence Toilet back in 2005 teamed up with Daiwa Housing once again and designed a sequel to their breakthrough product, namely the Intelligence Toilet II, equipped with all the original health monitoring features (urine sugar analysis, blood pressure check, BMI and body weight measurement), but with a little bit of extra too, an additional function, designed to appeal to women - urine temperature measurement and analysis.

As crazy as it may sound, this toilet is for real, and it can actually tell you when the ideal time to get pregnant or not is. The data collected by the Intelligence Toilet II can be used to determine the basal body temperature and hormone balance, information which helps women keep track of their menstruation cycles. Also, the same data can increase physical awareness with the aim of smarter dieting and skin care.

Just as in the case of the first Intelligence Toilet, all of the information collected by the toilet is beamed through your home network to your PC, where it can be monitored in the form of charts and graphs. This way, you will always know from the very beginning whether there's something wrong with your body or whether you need to see a doctor.

It seems that there are 10,000 people in the world who have decided to benefit from the smart features of the Intelligence Toilet since 2005 and it remains to be seen whether its sequel will have the same success on the global market or not. Why so few, considering all the advantages of a toilet like this? Well, because it goes from 3,500 to 6,100 US dollars to have one of these systems installed in your home. And taking into consideration the financial crisis and all, the manufacturer's sales projection for the second version of the toilet is 4,800 pieces in three years.
