Let's say that you've worked hard in order to create a very nice and all-natural environment in your backyard, but you'd also like to be able to enjoy your favorite music while relaxing in this special scenery. Of course, getting a portable player might seem to be the obvious solution at first, but there are also other ways, one of them being the possible use of the device you'll read about as follows, namely the Tree Stump Stereo speaker presented by Smarthome.

The 125-watt Tree Stump Stereo Speaker is a weatherproof 8-inch single speaker that brings the entertainment outdoors. This stereo speaker simulates a real tree stump, so you won't need to disrupt the natural landscape in order to enjoy quality sound outside. In fact, this is the speaker's main selling point, since there are few other products out there able to provide such a good level of integration with the surrounding environment.

Originally manufactured by StereoStone, the Tree Stump Stereo Speaker plays both channels of audio to produce stereo sound. However, if the user happens to have room for two speakers or prefers that setup, they can easily use the left/right channel 125-watt speakers instead. A 250-watt subwoofer is available to boost the bass outdoors.

The device presented by Smarthome measures 15 inches in height and has an 18-inch diameter, the overall weight being of 25 pounds. And if you're wondering just how you'll get the audio signal all the way to the speaker, the answer is quite a simple one: via a cable buried within an ABS/PVC conduit.

Now, as expected, this speaker won't come cheap, given its features, so it's no wonder that Smarthome is asking 400 US dollars for it; nevertheless, it is not that exaggerated a sum, all things considered.
