Let's imagine the following situation: you're riding your convertible sports car during summer, and you want to enjoy some music without everyone else around you knowing what songs you're listening to. What is there to do? While a pair of headphones would solve the problem, they might simply be too “uncool” for you.

A very good solution for such an issue (as far-fetched the situation mentioned above might seem) is represented by the Tri-Specs glasses, developed by the company with the same name. Actually, the name represents quite a good clue for what these things can do, since the glasses combine three different concepts: Bluetooth (well, that's more of wireless technology than a concept, but this is beside the point), stereo (since it comes equipped with built-in stereo headphones) and fashion (since, by all accounts, they look quite OK).

The Tri-Specs feature dual microphones, dual speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to listen to their favorite music or answer calls without ever taking their glasses off. Plus, they're built using STEP Labs' noise elimination acoustic technology, which is able to tell the difference between the wearer’s voice and other voices, sounds, and noises, preserving its natural fidelity.

The Tri-Specs shades are very easy to use, since they're automatically activated by extending the in-ear speakers. They can be controlled via voice prompts and support voice dialing for easy, hands-free use, but also sport MP3 and call control buttons on the arms of the glasses and support one-touch activation of phone calls.

Tri-Specs' Bluetooth-enabled sunglasses will retail for around 200 US dollars, which is indeed a pretty hefty price point for such an accessory, but, then again, I'm pretty sure that there are quite a lot of people out there willing to purchase such a product, given the cool factor it provides.
